Brandon Yang is a Co-Founder of Cartesia, which builds real-time generative voice and audio AI, including ultra-low-latency text-to-speech models for voice agents. The Cartesia founding team met as researchers at the Stanford AI Lab, where they pioneered state space models (SSMs) — efficient architectures for foundation models. Before Cartesia, Yang was a tech lead manager at Snorkel AI and researched at the Stanford AI Lab and Google Brain. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Stanford University, where he is on leave from a CS PhD.
