Jonathan Shih is the Co-Founder and CTO of Pine, a Canadian mortgage underwriting company that enhances everything from helping the user find an appropriate property to issuing the mortgage for the property they selected. Pine has a referral partnership with fintech company WealthSimple and acquired another real estate company in Properly in 2023. Shih is a Berkeley Computer Engineering alumnus with a Master’s in Computer Science from UCLA. Prior to Pine, Shih was a Software Engineer for a multitude of companies, including Facebook, Shopagon, and Instabase.
